Vail Parking and Local Transportation
Upon check-in at an East West Resorts property, guests with a vehicle are provided with a parking space for their vehicle.
Vail Village Parking
During the winter, covered pay parking is available at the Town of Vail's two parking structures. On weekends, these parking garages fill up and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. These parking structures are located on the South Frontage Road in Vail and Lionshead. During summer, covered parking is free.
Pre-aid metered parking is available in both parking structures. These spaces are easy to find and are perfect for short-term parking, or late-arriving guests ready to hit the slopes quickly. The metered parking spaces are located on the top deck of the Vail Village parking structure and on the second level of the LionsHead parking structure. Rates are $20 for the day, or $3 for up to three hours. Both credit cards and cash are accepted. Display your receipt on the driver's side dashboard of your vehicle.
Vail Parking Structures - Summer Months
During the summer, parking in both Town of Vail parking structures is free. These 2500 spaces are available on a first-come basis and the structures will fill up during busy weekends and some special events. Look for signs as you enter Vail on the availability at these parking structures.
Ford Park Parking Options for Summertime
If you are attending an event at Ford Park, you'll have the option of paying a $5 fee for close-in parking during peak days in the summer. Close-in parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and fees are collected between 4pm and 8pm. This parking is availalbe for events such as the Hot Summer Nights concert series, Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, and Vail International Dance Festival.
The Vail Village parking structure offers free summer parking with 10-minute bus service to the park during special events For those who prefer to walk from the structure to the park, pedestrian paths are in place providing 10-minute access to the park. There are also drop-off lanes will be accessible from the South Frontage Road for private vehicles on peak days, with attendants available to assist users.

Free Bus Throughout Vail
The Town of Vail offers a complimentary bus system throughout town. It runs year-round. Often refered to as the largest free bus system, this is very convenient to travel and it solves parking frustrations. For information, call (970)479-2358.

Bus Services Between Vail and Beaver Creek
Buses depart throughout the day from the Covered Bridge (at the west end of the Beaver Creek Shopping Plaza) or at the Beaver Creek Reception Center by the east parking lot. Look for the bus marked with your destination. Fare is $3.00 each way.

Town of Vail Buses run regularly between the eastern end of Vail Village and the western end of LionsHead. Scheduled buses to East Vail and West Vail run frequently as well.

County Transit System
ECO Transit operates a bus service between Vail, Beaver Creek and Avon. Buses leave from the Vail Transportation Center every half-hour and run 6am. to 2am. Cost is $2 - $3 each way. (970)328-3520.

High Mountain Taxi provides 24 hour door to door service between Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Cordillera, Eagle County Regional Airport and Aspen. The quickest, most flexible and affordable way for people to travel between Eagle Airport and the Vail Valley. Reservations are accepted. (970)524-5555
